Workshops

We run regular workshops for members in the Community Hall in Newtownmountkennedy, usually on the same weekend as our monthly meetings.  Our workshops cater for both beginners and those with more experience. “Colour for Quilters” with Emer Fahy.

Sat 21st – half day workshop using colour and designing your own cushion cover. 1:30 p.m. to 4.45 p.m.
Sun 22nd – full day workshop with further exercises in the power of colour ad value.  You will design and make a small quilt using these exercises and inspiration. 10.00 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.

Reverse Applique by Sandra Montgomery of Sandy Quilts.

The project is called “Circling the Square” and involves reverse applique with circles, satin stitch or other fancy stitches with machine and either straight line or free motion quilting.
